We will also provide the tools needed for a successful implementation and answer all your NIS2 questions in detail.

What is NIS2?

NIS2 stands for Network and Information Security directive, the second iteration of the original NIS directive from 2016. The original NIS directive was implemented to address the increasing number of cyber threats and vulnerabilities. The NIS2 directive now adds to that, with the European Union aiming to improve the general cybersecurity and resilience of networks and information systems across its member states. It sets requirements for critical sectors to enhance their security measures: energy, transport, health, and finance.

It mandates risk management practices, incident reporting, and cooperation between member states to ensure a unified and robust defense against cyber incidents. This directive ultimately aims to safeguard the EU’s digital economy and protect its citizens from cyber risks.

But how do you ensure compliance for NIS2? You can find out in our information session.
